The Doublegem is not a "fancy" hotel but it has everything we wanted: comfotable beds, clean room, frìendly staff, large and beautiful pool, on the beach, lovely sunsets, a restaurant and a bar.

Loved the location, 18 min walk to town, walk on the beach is possible all the way to Las Cabanas in the morning, many bars on the beach. Nice pool with great view. Nice restaurant. Staff was nice and helpful, loved the services - scooter rental, shuttle service, airport pick up. Rooms were older (the AC) but overall nice stay and nice employees.

Nice, clean hotel. Very attentive staff. The beach behind the hotel is wonderful and the views from the pool are even better than pictured. We loved our stay. The hotel is about a 5-10 ride to the downtown but so worth the ride.

Nice clean room. Little patio outside which was nice. Great pool right next to beach. Staff were pleasant enough but not the most efficient. Breakfast was included and was pretty good. Beach in front of hotel was beautiful and very quiet.

Front end staff were very considerate when one of us got sick and had to attend the hospital. They went out of their way to assist us, allowed extended room stay until we had to fly out. Only complaint would be the pool. At times it was very busy with kids! It would be nice if there was a separate section for adults. The property is large enough they could build just a kids pool area. The hotel is a perfect location. About 10 min tuk tuk ride to the busy town. Restaurant wasnt the best but so many options walking distance. Beds were hard, bathroom smelt of sewer but its common for El Nido. Beach was excellant.

Incredible and beautiful sunset and ocean views from every area of the property. Staff was amazing and professional and knew us by name from day one. I had just randomly selected this place but it really checked every box for me. Made for a very peaceful and welcoming stay. Again incredible views!!!

Very nice staff and the rooms are super clean. The property manager was very nice, helpful and accommodating. We loved all of them dearly. Very memorable stay. Will definitely come back again.

The hotel is on the beach with great views , I had the last room ground floor at rear of property near noisy road ( get a front room or don’t bother) hotel is very dated Staff are all very nice and polite ( I would give a special mention to a new girl ( Beverly ) she would talk to me even after her shift had finished and when I came in soaked from rain storm she offered to get a towel from service room for me again she was off duty ) I wish her the best

We had such a lovely stay here. Yes, it is a bit pricy but compared to all the terrible hotels in el nido this is really value for money. We had the casita with sea view which was just beautiful. Staff was very kind and helpful! I really dont see hoe people can rate this hotel badly. Loved it!

ROOM I had the Casita Deluxe (villa type accomodation). There are only two of these available. Both front the water and I would consider them the best option for the hotel. Coming in second best is the casita rooms, I think there is between 3-5 of these rooms available. Only one fronts onto the water, but the others are still lovely and you can see the water from the front balcony. Double gem is one of the best resorts along corongcorong. There are maybe 2 fancy ones, but a very different price range. There is room for improvement. The room and sheets were clean. Clean towels were given. The safe worked. Aircon and fridges always worked well. LOCATION The location of corong corong is good - many options for convenience stores, laundry, food etc. it has everything. It is only a 10 min trike to the other more northern el nido beach location which is 100-150 peso. I’d prefer to stay on corongcorong as you can swim in the beach and it has beautiful sunsets (unlike el nido beach). SERVICES The service from all of the workers is great. Jong from the bar (with the little ponytail) was so happy and helpful all of the time. We watched him deal with some unpleasant people and he handled it very well. Always made great drinks and had great service. Jovert (I think is his name) helped with our bags, and anything we needed help with. We would be sitting at the pool and he would be rushing by to help guests, all with a smile. BREAKFAST

Extended our stay for another 3 days !!

The people were over the top! Super friendly and very helping! The pool is amazing, beds comfy and the view amazing! We have a king bed balcony view. That is the best beach as well. The breakfast isn’t the best but can make it work…..GREAT sunset!!
