"The resort facility and staff are wonderful. The pool is amazing. The staff is kind and helpful. The beach is amazing. The buffet is weak and over valued. Needs improving. The Snack Bar was constantly out of food during peak hours. Yet the entertainment through out the day and the evening theater show was another amazing bonus to this property."

"Outside of main tourist town of Monterrico. Short walk to road for local food and tiendas. Great pool but also option for private pool which was awesome! Pathway to beach with miles of solitude along the ocean. David was very helpful with coordinating rides and answering questions via Whatsapp. Quick to address any issues with room. "

"Wi-Fi didn’t work well in the room and only worked well in hotel reception. There was also no mobile signal in the area. To get there we had to drive through 87 speed bumps. Everything else was great. Hotel staff were very friendly."

"This is a wonderful place for family during the week!! We were celebrating the 21st of my granddaughter and we had 4 generations together. The sound of the ocean pounding is wonderful. GREAT air conditioning in the bedrooms, roomy accommodations, the little pool and tasty food from restaurant are top pluses about Johnny's Place. I will say on the street just passed the resort, it is a little sketchy, so do not advise going out at night. BUT inside the walls and right in front IS an oasis!! "
