「Baliyana Lodge is a slice of paradise - beautifully landscaped grounds among the native trees on a hillside overlooking a valley towards the ocean. Remote but only 15 mins to the beach and 25 mins to Tamarindo. The hosts could not have been nicer, wonderful, healthy breakfast included, quiet, peaceful and serene location. 「Loved loved loved. This hotel is a small family owned property. The family is kind and helpful. They were attentive to our every need. When we arrived we had ants, but they quickly took care of it. The place is super cute and close to everything I could possibly need. A short walk to the beach and lots of places to eat. I would stay here again. Bonus: we had a cat on our patio the three days we were there. She is super sweet and wonderful.」

「If you want to experience life away from the madding crowds, this is the spot to experience Pura Vida. Life in its simplest form with everything you need and our hosts were wonderful, keeping in touch with us and being of great help to get us settled in.
