"One of the Best Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, and Hospes Palau de la Mar is easily one of the top five hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are excellent, and the food is outstanding. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the service. Every single employee we interacted with was exceptional—from the front desk staff, to the bellmen, bartenders, restaurant team, and housekeeping staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. The level of hospitality here is what luxury service should be. The staff consistently put the guest first and handled every request with professionalism and empathy. I had a rental car during my stay, and every time I needed it, the process was effortless. The team always had it ready and waiting, making transportation completely stress-free. Another detail that stood out was housekeeping. Unlike many hotels that only clean rooms during limited hours, the staff here were incredibly accommodating and available whenever needed. What impressed me most was the consistency. Every department delivered the same exceptional level of service throughout our stay. Beautiful hotel, incredible staff, outstanding food, and genuine hospitality. If you’re visiting Valencia, I cannot recommend Hospes Palau de la Mar highly enough."

"Excellent standards of cleanliness and all the staff were equally excellent. Only minor gripes were the outside, rooftop pool being closed for maintenance until our departure day (the outdoor pool was one reason I chose this hotel) and the street noise as our 3rd floor room faced the street. Breakfast buffet was also good."

"We stayed for 8 nights in May, the hotel is smart and a good standard, it was just off season so not everything (restaurant) was fully open however we enjoyed our stay. The location is good with other restaurants etc within walking distance and the main facilities in Hyannis only a short drive away."

The room was cleaned daily, with clear instructions on sustainability, which was much appreciated. Staff helped me and my needs as a person with a disability, especially during the morning buffet."

"It does the trick for a very quick trip to Valencia (comfortable bed, working AC), but two things really detracted from my experience: 1) The room's walls were filthy, which in turn made the whole room itself feel filthy. When I arrived and saw the walls, I immediately used my own anti-bacterial wipes to clean all of the room's surfaces and handles before touching anything because the walls were that unclean. The room I stayed in was not as clean as it looked in the photo here on Expedia. I would have asked to change room but, given the price and the limited amount of time I was spending in Valencia, it didn't seem worth the hassle. 2) The hotel wifi didn't work properly, which meant I had to use a lot of my phone plan's data during my trip. I asked the staff at reception for help and they kindly offered me use of the staff wifi, but the connection broke immediately when I got back to my room because the ground floor's wifi can't service a floor as far away as mine was (5th floor)."
