"Near train station which was nice. Is harder to find as it is inside of an overhang off the street. Once you find it its easy to navigate to as near main dinning and shopping area. I went during a slow time of year, but got a little street noise but not much. Good outlet and mini area for luggage. I had 3 bags (size of airplane carry on) and all fit under bed. In summer, the sleeping area might get a little stuffy as no vent, but if you have a mini fan this shouldnt be an issue. Receptionist...

"It was fantastic to stay in such a beautiful old home. The rokms are bright in the moring due to not having blinds, but i assume that is in keeping with the historic nafire of the house. It is still well worth staying in this place!"

"The owner is so friendly and helpful. The lobby area with dining and kitchen resources feels very cozy and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient, just a short couple minute walk from the famous Dogo Onsen, and there is also plenty of nice shops nearby - a beautiful to explore beyond that neighborhood as well. "If you love the idea of staying in a traditional Japanese house, this place is for you. Very clean and quiet. Nice to have access to a kitchen. The host was very warm and friendly. Close to the port, market and delicious restaurants. We were very happy with our stay. "

"The rooms were clean and as expected. The bathrooms and toilets were fine as well. The staff was pleasant. It was advertised that there was a restaurant and even on a chalkboard outside, there were daily specials written but we were told there was no food for purchase. This was a challenge given the remote location of the hostel and that restaurants closed very early. We did find a grocery store that closed at 7pm. The available kitchen facilities were cluttered, dark and poorly stocked. There...
