"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"Fab cottage right in the heart of the town, literally yards from the main street and the harbour. Cottage very cosy with every amenity needed. Bedroom and bathroom outstanding. Parking on street free and unrestricted, no resident parking permits so park wherever you find a space, many properties have do not park sign in windows these are not valid. Parking is a bit tight though. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay."

IXORA Hotel and Spa

8/10 Good

"Take additional hangers for clothes as minimal hangers in room and only 1 storage draw"

Imperial Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely — I’ve polished the review while keeping your original points and balanced, honest tone. 👍 My stay at the hotel was for business purposes, and I had a double room on the second floor. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and it was attended to daily, with the mineral water replenished each day. The only very minor issue I experienced was that the room became quite cold as the weather changed. I had to ask the staff to turn the heating on in my room, which I found slightly unusual for the middle of October. However, the staff were very attentive and dealt with this promptly, as they did with any other queries I had during my stay. Another very minor observation was that there wasn’t a bin in the foyer. On one occasion, I had to ask the receptionist if I could dispose of some rubbish in her bin. I had breakfast and an evening meal each day and could not fault the food. My only concern during my stay was one afternoon when I was seated in the foyer. I saw four youths come down the stairs and begin trying to open doors. It was apparent that they were not there for any legitimate reason. As I kept an eye on them, they soon left the building. Unfortunately, there were no security staff nearby at the time, and the receptionists were busy assisting guests who we"
