「The whole experience was just great, lovely staff,great food,clean lodgings and close to Alton towers 」

「There was little or no noise from the pub. The only noise near my room was other guests arriving and departing. Parking was no problem. Staff were very pleasant and, due to them, I was able to get my head down in good time as I had been up all the previous night. This was followed by a very sound night's sleep. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for me (cereal and toast). The evening meal I had booked was again perfectly satisfactory. For my one night's stay, the experience was fine. 」

「Average stay, tv not receiving signal, boiler broke down, although owner came out to fix within a few hours. Very poor welcome pack (small bottle of milk). No logs or kindling for log burner. View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open.」

「Parking area was fine except for a few who parked outside the marked areas and made exiting difficult. Room was comfortable, one chair had wobbly legs and didn't feel safe otherwise fine. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on it. Staff were very friendly and helpful」
