Good location

Good location but room.was.ok.. some other noisy guests and room has thin walls. The satellite TV has only a few channels working after much searching. The lift was noisy next to bedroom. Overall not too bad but have had much better.

Absolutely recommended

Booking Oak Hill apartments was a last minute decision and we were glad to get an immediate response via phone inquiring about what time we were to arrive. The apartment on the 5th floor was exceptionally spacious - two bedrooms, two rather large showerrooms and a very large and comerfortable livingroom with fully equipped 'American kitchen' next to it. Everythings was almost new and perfectly clean. Free parking available in front of the building. Grocery shopping, a very good Polish restaurant and bus connections into the city or to the waterfront are just around the corner. Without any question: Oak hill apartments are among the finest holiday homes we have ever booked.

Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was included in the apartment from kitchen utensils to laundry detergent. Rental agents were very professional and helpful. They were also extremely responsive when we had a question about the washer/dryer. Property supplied valuable information in the guest book located in the apartment.

We have stayed here before and it has always been excellent. We arrived a little later than we had hoped and let them know an hour or so in advance this meant the young lady had to stay later which she did and was charming. On our arrival and made sure we were completely at home before she left.

Yes!

Chose this place for one night to stay and go to the markets. Had two kids with us so an apartment worked out well. It was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Fantastic!

On a positive note, Joanna was pleasant and very helpful prior to our arrival and the day we arrived. The property is run down, cracks in the wall, the WiFi is very spotty, the clothes dryer did not dry at all, we ended up having to hang our clothes on the curtain rod and balcony to dry, the bottom of the coffee pot was rusted so we couldn’t use it and water ran up from underneath the toilet onto the floor every time we flushed. We were traveling the UK for 3 wks, so when I searched for properties, I included breakfast and washer/dryer, and the center of town. When I asked where the breakfast was, the lady on duty was a bit rude as she advised they have never offered a continental breakfast.. I wanted to inform her of the coffee pot, dryer and toilet issues, but she was busy greeting new guests. When I went back to tell her after they had left, she had closed the reception door and didn’t answer when I had knocked. BTW.. this hotel is not located near the center of town.. it is a brisk 45 minute walk from the heart of the city, and not in an attractive part of town. So, my review.. WAY overpriced for what it is.

While visiting UK we decided to go up to Edinburgh at the last minute and found this place. Super nice staff, close to a Tesco grocery store, very easy parking (with plenty of spaces) and a bus stop close by this was the way to go.

Great location, walk ( or easy bus) to Holyrood one way and Brittania the other. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We had views to both the city and Firth and a small balcony. Two double beds and two bathrooms ( one en-suite) with care mfortable beds and good linens.

Nice place, location not so much

The apartment was very nice. 2 bed, 2 bath. Beds were pretty comfy. Not centralized near the city, in fact a little sketchy of a neighborhood if you ask me. I wouldn’t stay here again, mainly because it’s not walkable to the City center.
