A bright and sunny one bedroom flat in the central, leafy green Hillside area of Edinburgh. Perfect location for all the Edinburgh Festival activities. Close to tram stop (good for the airport), bus stops and walking distance to many festival venues, Holyrood Palace, Arthur's Seat, Calton Hill - across the road. The spaces are: bedroom (double bed), bathroom with shower over bath, living room (window seat, TV, sofa, wood burning stove), spacious kitchen and dining area. Well kept communal garden that can used (the neighbours are lovely). I bought this flat because I love the area, being so central yet so green (lots of squirrels in the gardens!) and a neighbourhood feel. Being top floor it is quieter and lovely high ceilings so nice and airy. I had a window seat installed in the living room so I could sit with a cup of tea and watch the world go by. I also had a wood burner installed last year. It's a warm flat in the summer, but if you do need to use it for any chilly evenings you are most welcome to (wood provided). Nearby you can find artisan bakeries, coffee shops and lovely gift shops. My Welcome Guide will provide all these details. I describe my flat as a City Sanctuary and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
