Clean room and fresh, renovated bathrooms. I had a private room, but had to share the bathroom with several others which was unexpected. A decent walk to the centre.

Je recommande cette auberge de jeunesse avec plaisir. J’y ai passé un agréable séjour avec mon fils dans une chambre pour deux. La chambre était spacieuse avec des rangements et la literie très confortable. Les pièces communes sont très bien équipées propres et bien organisé. Une belle expérience pour moi avec mon fils de 16 ans!

It’s a youth hostel in every sense of the word. We aren’t sure why, but something was being drilled through at 11 pm, and the music is always on if you have the private room close to the common area.

Nous avons pris une chambre avec un grand lit dans ce lieu original Et nous avons très bien dormi La literie est très confortable Le personnel est très aimable Le prix est très raisonnable étant donné que nous sommes à Édimbourg Nous sommes à moins de 10 minutes à pied des lignes de bus (centre d Édimbourg, aéroport) du tramway et aussi des pubs, et des restaurants On peut aussi aller à pied à Grassmarket (environ 20 minutes en baladant) J y retournerai sans hésiter !

The stay was great for the night, we got the private room, but no private bathrooms available. The private rooms do get there own toilets and showers separately from the dorm rooms. There was an odd smell near the one male showers but we just avoided that area entirely

Tiny room which was what we wanted! We were there to sleep and only to sleep ultimately. Basic twin room but had a TV which was nice!

Didn’t spend too much time at the hostel. We needed a place to stay as our flight had been cancelled, it was a lovely experience and would more then likely stay there in the future.

Si no puedes gastar mucho este es un buen hospedaje! Los empleados son amables! Recomendable para personas sin mucho equipaje puesto que hay que subir y bajar escaleras .

Nice neighbourhood, lovely people

Belford was my first night in Edinburgh and it was super chill. An easy walk from Haymarket station, the 24/7 check-in was really nice. I had a lovely private room (only 4 of those, so book early!) and the staff were super friendly and kind. It was a chill, well-stocked place right besides Dean Village and not far from West End and their nice bars and cafes.

Super auberge de jeunesse! Personnel sympa et serviable! Lieu très atypique on dort dans une église c’est très sympa. C’est vrai que ça sent un peu « comme chez mamie » mais rien à voir avec les commentaires affreux d’odeur de moisissures!!!
