"We had an expected appointment in the Bar Harbor area and needed a place to stay for the night. The website was easy to navigate and the hotel is easy to find. They do offer parking under the hotel, but looks limited. Off season we were able to park right next door. The lobby and hotel were nicely decorated and the room was spacious! Loved the corner room. So comfortable and plenty of seating options if you did not want to watch tv in bed. The staff were professional and polite and they have COOKIES in the afternoon! Yeah baby!!! They have a restaurant on site, and the menu has enough options to cover various dietary needs. Off-season, the staff is limited, so be patient and enjoy the views. We would return to Pathmaker during the busier season for sure."

"Room was clean. Never saw any staff. Power was out due to storm for most of our stay. Generator power was used and was sufficient. Could not use tv until final day. Did speak on phone to staff but was not able to resolve. This could have been due to storm. No one ever resupplied our room after first night with coffee, creamer etc. We did go into the common room for more creamer ourselves."

"Loved this unique experience! It did get cold towards the end of our stay, but that's because it was October and we got caught in the rain on a hike. They had tons of blankets and two heaters that helped a lot. If a dryer was available for wet clothes, that would've been outstanding. Also, our hiking guide/bartender, Jeremy, was amazing!! Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again."
