Perfect stay for our fishing tournament

Plenty of room for our boat to park and nice overnight spot to lay our heads. A few restaurants close by.

Perfect for our short stay

My brother, me, and our wives needed somewhere simple to stay for a friend’s wedding in Alexander City. This was perfect! Super easy check in/out, great spot right next to Lake Martin. Clean and comfy. If I ever need to come to this area again I’ll stay here!

Peaceful Getaway in a Cozy Cabin

We had a fantastic stay at this charming little cabin! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, well-stocked, and incredibly cozy. The peaceful setting made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I especially loved the porch where I could enjoy my morning coffee while listening to the birds and the breeze through the trees. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. Whether you’re looking for a quiet weekend retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this cabin is a hidden gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Quiet, peaceful place near walking trails at Lake Martin. We built a little fire in the fire pit and completely enjoyed being out of the chaos of the rest of the world for the evening. We had all we needed and the place was very clean.

Very simple and adequate cottage. My Husband, son and his fishing partner stayed for a high school fishing tournament. They enjoyed the space. Said it was clean, nice and comfortable. Thanks

Overnight from Missouri to Florida

I had high hopes based on prior reviews. The sinks, toilet and shower were clean enough. All of the bedding had holes, tears, fuzz, someone else’s hair, and tons of wood chips or nature “debris”. I have no idea if the sheets were washed after the last guests. The comforters and blankets did not seem clean, with chocolate/mud or (?) on the navy one. At a glance the floor looked clean, but with bare feet or socks you had glitter, nature debris and other stuff sticking to them. The towels provided had tears/holes and someone else’s hair in them. The wi-fi was out most of the night, making it hard to watch the Roku or surf the internet. No directions were provided for checkout, so we just locked the door and put the key back where we found it. Positives were that checkin was easy and our stay was quiet. Overall this was not a good value and we were not comfortable with the accommodation - we won’t be back.

This was the perfect place to stay for us! Very close to the AMP. Its a small shed house but great when all you need is a comfy, quiet place to sleep. The owners are exceptionally nice and there to assist with anything.. even gave us some zip ties and pliers when the skid plate on my car got loose during our stay.

Great Property, host is super friendly, has everything you need.. I would’ve loved a window to be able to see the woods around us, but as long as the weather is good, you can sit outside and enjoy the quiet and nature. It’s super close to The Amp where our concert was held. We will be returning over the next couple months to enjoy more concerts in the area. Fannys was delicious food as well as the general store makes great deli sandwiches with cute items for sale.

Great Place!

We enjoyed the cabin. There is a shop building adjacent and a house nearby, but the deck opens toward trees in the other direction so we felt secluded. The fire pit area was nice. We would stay again.

Great host, great property, great stay! Everything is as advertised, only better. Across the street from the amphitheater, minutes from a boat ramp and convenient to Lake Martin area dining. We definitely enjoyed the fire pit and woodpile :)
