"We loved our stay here and would recommend it for a couple of novelty nights. The treehouse is great for a family adventure, but do bear in mind the height and stairs. The location is beautiful and quiet in the middle of woodland. The treehouse is built around the tree (which grows through the room) and supported on stilts rather than harming the tree. "Exceeded expectations. Gite had everything we needed and more. Welcoming, helpful and kind host. Thick stone walls, double glazing and shutters meant it was nice and cool, even in the summer heatwave. Massive garden. Quiet location. Lots to see and do nearby - could easily stayed a month ! "The unit is located in a very central and walkable part of town. All the shops you need are down the street. The unit itself is in OK condition; not poor, nor great. We had to put the toaster and kettle in the cabinet above to make counter space for cooking and the unit manager accused us of stealing the things when she didn't see them immediately. We were also accused of breaking a soap dispenser that simply went empty and was opened up to highlight that it needed refill. Not a great end...

"I needed self contained accommodation with some outside space in Saumur that was also close to major stores. Suzel's apartment provided that with a Lidl almost next door and an Intermarché Hypermarché a short drive. The kitchen diner was well equipped and I appreciated the gas hob. Bedroom was a good size and the plant life outside helped keep the apartment cooler with outside temperatures in the 30's. Suzel's a very pleasant lady. I was able to park my car in a convenient space on the road...
