"Room was clean and tidy, good amenities especially with the small fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice and served very quickly. Ample parking at the rear of the building. Good choice of evening meal, only sorry we weren't there on Sunday for the carvery. Great location in a beautiful small village. Would recommend and stay again."

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"Very traditional and pretty inn in the heart of Pickering. Perfect location to explore the moors, and the heritage railway station is just down the street. The food in the restaurant is really good, as is breakfast."

"The hotel is beautiful, well equipped, very nice staff. The location is gorgeous with easy access to the centre of Malton. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Only negative was mold in the bathroom, apart from that our stay was perfect!"
