"Wonderful place to stay"

"The staff was efficient at checking us in. The breakfast was you regular hotel breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, assortment of bread/bagels, etc. Not better, not worse than the next hotel. They are installing new carpet so there were rolls of carpet in the lobby and halls but it wasn't a bother to just walk around them. We would stay here again if in the area."

"I had a relaxing retreat from civilization in the Wrangler Outlaw Suite at Cody's Ranch. The suite is beautifully designed, with large sleeping/living space and large bathroom, perfect for 1 or 2 people, or cozier for a couple more on the sleeper sofa. All ADA accessible. The main room has a vaulted wood ceiling, queen bed, and lots of comfy seating. I enjoyed the large bathroom with over-sized jet bathtub and large shower with 4 extra jets. The private deck with rocking chair was my favorite thing about the unit - view of sunset over rolling hills. The kitchen is not typical, but sufficient. Small counter with sink and air fryer/toaster oven combo. Upper shelves hold microwave, toaster, and small electric burner. The are sufficient pots and pans, dishes and eating/cooking utensils. If you want to cook, the best option is the outdoor side-by-side gas grill/griddle combo. I really enjoyed making eggs and pancakes on the griddle every morning, and grilling burgers for lunch or dinner. Ed lives on site and was available and very helpful.Lots of good walking/ATV trails on the property, and animals to see. Lots more nearby ATV trails. I plan to rent an ATV nearby next time! The Wrangler Outlaw Suite is the upper rental unit, and there is also a lower unit, which is designed to hold a lot more people. Thank you, Ed, for a great visit!"

"We are there right now. My 7 year old can’t sleep because it sounds like a herd of elephants running rampant through the halls. When we checked in the lady at the counter was friendly, but then I heard her talking about us to a coworker because we used a credit card. The room was clean. The Bartender/Waiter was amazing. The food was mediocre. The pool and hot tub are nice, but I think there was too much chlorine. I don’t understand why they have so many balls in the pool. It got out of hand and people who just wanted to swim were getting hit in the face. There was blood on the floor. We told the lifeguard who used a hose to clean it up. That is not how you clean up blood. But, I also don’t think it should have been her responsibility. The workout room was ok. The breakfast was not great, but we are still grateful for it."

"The staff were very friendly. Bedding wasn't the same as it was in the photos but it worked out just fine we had brought extra blankets in from the car. Breakfast was ok, not a lot of options but had a wonderful waffle and got back on the road. We would stay again if the in the area."

"This place has a beautiful view . It was nice to sit on the back deck and look out at the Mississippi River and watch the trains go by. The night sky was also beautiful to look at, so dark of feels like you can see every star in the sky. We will definitely be booking a much longer stay. "
