"House is cute and in a nice walkable neighborhood. The upstairs of the home (kit, living room, dining) was nice. Owners had a great coffee area set up, only thing was there were not coffee filters, so we didn't get to take advantages of the coffee. The downstairs was disappointing, the carpet is stained and the downstairs area smells. I guess this is good for those who have their pets (which we did not). Each bedroom had an air-conditioner unit. The check-in was smooth, minus the 2 different...

"The house is large and perfect space for us. The only complaint was the sheets did not appear to be washed. When we took the sheets off in one of the BRs the mattress had a large urine stain. The mattress protector was in the top of the closet but apparently the cleaning people just did not want to put it on. We washed all the sheets before we sent to bed. But had a great time."

"This cabin was perfect for our family to enjoy our much needed time together. Mornings out on the huge covered porch with an amazing view of the mountain. Deer greeting us each morning. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast. Living Area was also very cozy for all to gather and reminisce. Would highly recommend to stay here. "Traveling from Utah to Texas for the 2024 Eclipse, we stayed at this lovely rental in Carlsbad. We immensely enjoyed Carlsbad Caverns and took a jaunt into the Guadalupe Mountains as well. The home had what we needed, the neighborhood was quiet, and the house itself is beautiful and comfortable."

"It was nice because it was a big enough place but if they spent a little to make it more presentable and more clean would make a world of differnce. The grill was filthy and almost unuseable."

"Check in was smooth and easy, we had the code the day before sent to us so we were ready to go. All the host asked was for us to let them know when we left. The house was very clean and the furnishings were cute and comfortable. The sheets smelled really clean like they’d just been washed. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Carlsbad Caverns or Guadalupe it was a great location to see both."

I had made a few suggestions that I noticed on my first visit, and the host not only respectfully listened, but then demonstrated her desire to go above and beyond in order to please her guests. "Fine property but several inconveniences. Upstairs shower is very small, not usable for any adult or teenager, so expect to only have one shower. Additionally main shower head is damaged and has a significant leak out the bottom of the head. No kitchen trash bags or paper towels were provided so we had to go buy some. Overall it was good for a weekend stay where we weren't at the house much."
