「The room was excellent as well as the restaurant. The lady that checked us in was not too friendly however, the lady that checked us out in the morning was very nice,」

「I've stayed here multiple times and it just seems to get a little worse every time. The shower was terrible. The shower head was so corroded and plugged up barely any water came out. There was also a lot of random hairs in the shower. The beds are not comfortable at all. The pool is always under repair and the "fitness center" is not functional. Unfortunately, it's one of only 2 hotels in town and the other one is worse. 」

「I generally appreciate this property, having returned there a couple times. It is mostly up to snuff in terms of quality of maintenance. However, this time I was not the only one to notice that the hvac has a wide temperature range: it got too hot before it got too cold. My other complaints are minor: the bath tub bottom hadn't been scrubbed in a long time and was a bit scuzzy; the hair conditioner bottle hadn't been filled; and the toilet seat is too small for my large to average body size....

「My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, checked in to make sure my room was okay, and personable. Breakfast and coffee were both good. They had puzzles and games available which I appreciated.」

「The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Except for o e loud car in the parking lot about 9pm, it was quiet and restful. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The facility is well kept but could stand updating. That said, they're doing well with it all the same. The restaurant next door was good, clean, and the good was good. As value goes, you can't beat The Yorkshire if you plan to stay in York.」
