"Black Bear Lodge is a very no-frills, rustic motel, with the room doors opening to the outside on a walkway or balconey. The bed was Very comfortable and the shower was great. That was my primary need, so i was pleased. The check in is down the road at a coffee shop and they have limited check in hours, or you have to make special arrangements. "This was our 2nd time at this hotel, me and my husband and our 12yr old dog. Front desk is always friendly and helpful. We originally booked for 2 nights but decided to stay a 3rd night. A little dated but the room was clean and had the basics most rooms come with. Definitely a pet friendly place although at a rate of 12$ per pet is a little steep considering the rooms are very pet friendly with flooring and such. "
