The hotel is located inside an old woolen mill factory. It has been recently restored and renovated to create overnight and venue services. The rooms are large and airy with stylish decor and there are inviting public spaces throughout. The furnishing are upscale and serval tools and machines from the original factory are included in artistic touches throughout. The restaurant offered delicious meals at a reasonable rate. When we checked in, we were told our room was on the second floor and there were no elevators, only stairs. I recently had injured my knee and it was difficult for me to walk up/down stairs. The front desk clerk informed me the hotel was very full and he didn't know if he would be able to move anything around. Since I had not told them we needed a first floor room, I said it was OK. Staff were very nice. My only complaint was that hot tub was only 10 degrees warmer than the pool.

Really nice hotel that is run in conjunction with the local college hospitality program. During school year, students work at the hotel in various capacities. Bartender in the lobby was super nice. There is a free tasting of local wines in the lobby in the evenings. Rooms are very nice. Out of the city location, but there is a shuttle to downtown available.

It was amazing considering we hadn’t planned it - a snow squall came up and we happened to be near that exit! It was just what we needed!

The hot tub was broken and full of brown water. Otherwise the hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. It is a nice place to stay.

This was our last stop on a trip from California to Illinois and it was everything my friend and I needed! Excellent service, wonderful bar/restaurant overlooking the city, pool and hot tub to soak weary bones, beds that were incredibly difficult to get out of, just the kind of vibe we were looking for!

Convenient location and price

Friendly and clean hotel with plenty of parking behind the hotel. We arrived on a Friday, stayed until Sunday. Try the Winneshiek Ice Water made by Dylan at the Tap Room! Hotel is close to shops, breweries and restaurants/pubs. Plan to park and walk everywhere! Just a short walk to Trout Run Trail which covers just about every terrain from hilly, rocky, switch backs to prairie farm land. Stayed one night & the room was great! Super comfy bed & pillows. The staff was very helpful, chatty & friendly. If we find ourselves without our dog in the Quad Cities again we will surely stay here!

I enjoyed the outside patio area. It was nice to drink morning coffee outside. My room had a musty odor from the air conditioner and felt humid and damp. The hallways and general areas didn't have this problem so it was probably just my room. Standard boring breakfast. Good coffee. Nice young man checked us in. Close to shopping.

We needed a room for one night. It was very nice. Good rates, very comfortable beds, and close to everything. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The free breakfast was very good. The bar had 2 for 1 drinks. I would recommend this motel to other travelers.
