「This apartment was perfect for us. The location was great, within walking distance to the downtown area and the Ft Madison riverfront park area. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a creative prison theme that gave it a unique charm. It met all our needs and even had thoughtful extras like a sleeping mask, which was a nice touch. Having a personal parking spot made things super convenient. Highly recommend for a cozy and hassle-free stay.」

「Came to Elkader for a quiet stay, not disappointed. Katherine and Michael were excellent hosts, unit 1 exceptionally clean and cozy. Hotel quality linens, modern unit with homey touches. Loved Michael’s breakfast in the morning. Ate dinner at St. Olaf Tavern, would recommend, short drive from Elkader. One block to Turkey River, nice areas to sit along the river. Elkader has other good restaurant options right in town.」
