「This is where you would want to go if you want to stay someplace quiet out of the main touristy area of Bar Harbor. The Inn is very cute like staying at your grandmother’s, it is across the street from Prospect Harbor. We rode in on a motorcycle in the rain from Bar Harbor and Gale was at the door to greet us with two dry towels. 「This place is a lovely and convenient hotel outside of Bar Harbor but still within range of the town and park. You're also close to places to eat like Udder Heaven Ice Cream & BBQ (a short drive down the road). Not only are the premises quiet and modern, it's pretty with places to sit outside to watch the night sky when the stars are out. The breakfast is accomadating, which is nice for someone like me who has gluten sensitivities. Ask the staff; they're very helpful!」

「We liked the fact that the inn was relatively close to downtown Bar Harbor. We could hop on the free shuttle that picks up guests from a series of hotels and inns. It runs every 20 to 25 minutes and ends up by the Bar Harbor Green. Trying to park in Bar Harbor is way too challenging and expensive. The inn is close to a very busy street, which can be noisy. 「We loved our stay. The location was perfect - easy walking distance to downtown and just a short walk from the Bar Harbor trail sandbar that is only passable at low tide. The staff were great and the savory and sweet breakfast options were delicious! Plus the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! Would definitely stay again.」

A short walk from the main street, and the post office is just around the corner if you want to buy stamps and send postcards.
