The Jindabyne Lakehouse

One of only a handful of premium holiday let properties with true lake frontage and beach access, The Jindabyne Lakehouse is a destination in itself and perfect for big families!

Located a 6 minute drive from the centre of Jindabyne in the beautiful Tyrolean Village, this house is both peaceful and ideally located to enjoy the lake or the ski fields of Thredbo and Perisher.

A wonderful house both in winter and summer built to accommodate a large family, families with grown children and their partners or 2 families, this unique property offers 5 bedrooms, 2 with TV's for the kids when adults are relaxing.

Two King Sized beds make this a sumptuous retreat for couples and families wanting luxury and great holidays with friends and family, a third queen sized bed and a king single with a trundle (which lifts to become a king sized bed for couples) make this a safe option for young children where bunk beds are not a preferred option.
Another queen bed with large wall mounted TV in the rumpus upstairs makes for a perfect kids retreat so adults can relax around the fire in winter or on the deck watching the sunset.

Quality paddle Boards and kayaks are available to add to this wonderful retreat location with a range of life vests for adult use and a table tennis table for everyone . Bring your own fire wood for the fire-pit and enjoy the starry nights of Jindabyne, toasting marshmallows.

Nothing has been left without thought in the furnishing of this beautiful home and we hope you find it as welcoming and comfortable as we do.

This is a perfect place to stay for large families or groups - lots of room to socialise, cook, dine and sleep with all of the home comforts you would ever need. The hosts are very welcoming and communicative and the locations is simply breathtaking with quick access to a flat picturesque walking track and a small beach. A truly memorable alpine experience - we will be back!

This is a perfect place for family and friends stay. We booked 4 nights for our family ski trip and we had the best experience ever. This house is clean and big, get absolutely everything we need (even more than what we have at home). The heated floor make us warm, the private beach is perfect for kids play. Just perfect.

We have had the most wonderful holiday at this beautiful lake house! The home catered to our 2 families so perfectly and we truly never wanted to leave. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the fun that we had on the lake has created life long memories for us and our kids. Thank you Carole and Ian for opening your home for others to experience. We couldn't recommend it more highly!

We will definitely come back here to stay again. Love Love Love it.... The property is located in a beautiful spot and has beautiful water views of the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. My favorited thing about this house was the fact that it is soooo clean and tidy.

Was a fantastic spot, right on the lake, with easy access into town and into perisher. Secluded enough to feel away from the bustle but central enough to feel in the community. Only small issues where the downstairs showers (not draining well) and a small issue with the dishwasher. Owners communicated so well and were a pleasure to deal with! Will be back.

On arrival to the house, we were so pleasantly surprised. More often than not, holiday rentals are not nearly as good in reality (compared to the pictures online). This house however was the opposite. The position of the house is incredible. Lake Jindabyne just stretches out in front of you. The rooms were a great size and I have to say, the beds were so super comfortable. There were some lovely touches - snacks and bubbles left for us on arrival and the house had a cozy, homely feel. Carole was so quick to answer any questions we may have had and their communications were very prompt and clear. Have recommended this house to many of our friends already and would certainly come back. Great weekend!

The perfect getaway! This house has everything we needed. Warm, welcoming, extremely well stocked kitchen. Lots of space for 2 families to relax and unwind after a day skiing. Lovely touches of arm chairs by the fire place, board games, table tennis, books, DVDs, fire pit overlooking the lake. And the views are spectacular! Photos don’t do this place justice. So lovely, we will be back again!

It was a lovely and spacious house overlooking Lake Jindabyne. It was a little further to Jindabyne Township than we thought, though waking to a snow covered yard overlooking the lake was amazing and the house was lovely and warm. The property itself needed a little TLC - the downstairs shower was very mouldy and we had to clean it for our own benefit and we also had to replace a light in the drying room ourselves - key room when returning from skiing and it was not working when we arrived. The property managers were lovely and provided useful information. They also reached out to us to make sure we were okay when the snow hit. Overall, a lovely stay with family in a property that just needs a little more maintenance and bathroom cleaning.

The property is even more beautiful and well appointed in person than in the listing. Luxurious fittings including heated flooring throughout the house. Walk down through the spacious backyard for a dip in the lake. Convenient parking. Flawless communication from the wonderful hosts. Could not recommend highly enough. We loved our stay and will be back soon!
