"I love historic hotels such as this one. Everything is clean and atmospheric ,I liked my room very much. The attached restaurant serves nightly specialtes of local recipes. On the expensive side though I've found all dining in Israel is relatively expensive compared with Europe and other countries. The location is excellent next to Garden Tomb and easily walkable to Damascus Gate. Helpful owner. Breakfast included. Recommended and would stay again. "

"The breakfast buffet gave us a good start to our days touring and the bar was good for a wind down beverage in the evenings. The hotel is walking distance from a few restaurants and is close to the Damascus Gate. The location was a convenient start to our daily touring. It could use a little updating. Overall, a good place to stay. "

"All the staff and super friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious. Even though the hotel is built in the 50’s, it is well maintained. The older lady that works the breakfast buffet is very helpful and kind. The breakfast is a nice variety. The man who works the main desk (I think his name is Sam) is super nice, accommodating, helpful and easy to talk too. The young man who’s the manager is also very nice and always greets you. "
