"We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury."

"Worst hotel/motel experience of my adult life, and I travel a lot. The room smelled of human body odour and the walls were absolutely paper thin. I ended up leaving after one hour and paying not much more for a nice B&B 5 miles away."
