Falmouth House

Cape Cod, weathered, shingled, beachfront property. Located beachfront on beautiful Jenkins Pond. Walk from the back yard directly to the sandy beach! (this is a fresh water pond) Great swimming beach, windsurfing, canoeing, and fishing!

Enjoy the beautiful deck overlooking the pond and hopefully you will be treated by seeing our bald eagle that frequents the waters!! The fishing here is fabulous! There is a row boat, 3 kayaks and many floating toys for your enjoyment on the water. Deck offers a Weber grill with side burner, bar and stools, and comfortable seating for the whole family. From below enjoy the shaded patio with additional seating and lounging.

This property offers two levels of living area with Central heat and air conditioning. It has a full game room with slate Billiard table, Ping-Pong, A smart HD TV, built-in wet bar, and beautiful stone fireplace (Gas: off April to October) (wetbar has refrigerator and coffee maker) Double sliding glass doors are walk out to patio, yard, and beach. There is an outdoor shower as well This level offers three bedrooms and one bathroom. The bedrooms on this level consist of Bedroom Four: one queen-size bed; Bedroom Five: one queen and one twin; Bedroom Six: two twin. Bathroom has stand-up shower.

The upper level offers a full kitchen, dining area, living room, three bedrooms, and a full bath. Double sliding glass doors lead to oversized deck. This deck is gated at both entrances so you have piece of mind with small children and pets. The living room has a smart HD TV and HD DVD. (Gas stove off April - October) bedrooms on this level consist of Bedroom One: one king size bed (smart led tv); Bedroom Two: one queen size bed; (smart led tv) Bedroom Three: 2 bunk beds with full over full and twin over twin, (smart led tv). Full bath with tub and shower.

Property is approximately 2000 square feet with an additional 600 square feet of outdoor decking and patio area.

Jenkins pond is approximately two miles round (you can walk or bike all the way around). Property is located approximately four miles to Falmouth Center. If you want the OCEAN BEACHES we are ten minutes to Old Silver Beach (public parking), Surf Beach (public parking) and Falmouth Heights which is home to the finish line of the Falmouth road race! Take the Island Queen Ferry to MARTHA'S VINEYARD (departures/parking: ten minutes away).

The place was beautiful, clean, spacious and the perfect location. There were so many options, from hanging out on the porch, by the fire, on the water front, or inside around the upstairs living room/billiards area downstairs. Great Stay

We stayed at Julie’s house for a long weekend with the extended family of 8 adults and 6 kids. The house was great and was well equipped for all of us. The location on the pond was perfect and the kids spent most of the time playing in the sand and water. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Golf weekend

Got a few friends together for a golf weekend. Stayed here and it was everything we wanted and more! Great location with a nice private beach on a fresh water lake. Plenty of bedrooms and beds, very clean and close to all amenities and golf courses. Communication was great with the owner. I highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful Cottage

We had an amazing stay at this property. Julie was very responsive. The home had everything we needed and more. The lake was so beautiful, and we loved swimming in it! When we weren’t swimming we were using the fire pit, jacuzzi, or the pool table. Thanks Julie for sharing this beautiful property. We look forward to staying again next year!

Birthday and 50th Wedding Anniversary

Hello, Our family party of 10 had a wonderful time at this property. The deck views were amazing. Lots of entertainment with pool table, paddle board and kayaks. Plenty of space for us to be comfortable in. The water access was awesome and we appreciated the fenced in yard. We would highly recommend.

The perfect vacation

The fact that this is our 6th time staying at this property says it all. Every year gets better. This house has it all.. location, toys, space, AC. Our growing family is creating core memories here. We love being on the pond and having the beach and the kayaks and the hot tub and the firepit. On the rare occasion we do leave the house, it is close to the beach and shopping and town. Honestly this house checks every box you would want.

Great Labor Day Getaway

What an amazing home! Myself and my extended family had such a great long weekend at the house. It is a place for one stop entertainment. Right on a huge pond, secure fenced in yard for the dogs, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, card games. You don’t even need to leave! The way the bedrooms are laid out are also perfect for multiple families to share the house. And even central air! We loved it so much that we already booked for July 2022.

A perfect getaway

We were fortunate to stay at Julie’s beautiful home for a multi-generational family vacation, choosing to stay in-state during the pandemic. The house had everything we needed and more. The pictures don’t even do it justice! It was perfect for our three families and the kids loved the bunk beds. It is perfectly located for all sorts of activities but we spent most of our days at the private lakefront beach and in the water. The beach is much bigger than the photos and perfect for little ones (and big ones alike). We also loved the hot tub, large deck, and all the space. We would return in a heartbeat!

Family loved the lake

3 BR upstairs for the adults and 3 BR downstairs for the kids was perfect. All the amenities you could ask for. Beach is easy access as some of the homes on the pond have dozens of stairs to get to the water and have no sandy beach. Yard is secure for kids and pets. The only ask would be to have a fire pit from a box store with a cover. We had no incidents but the in-ground fir pit is still HOT the next day and pets and kids do not understand this too well. Look forward to another stay.

Look no further for the best vacation house on the cape

This is my 4th year in a row coming to this house and every year it gets better and better. It is large enough to fit our large group and being right on the pond allows people to come and go as they please, no more packing up everyone and everything to go to the beach. The pond is your backyard! We love to float all day then use the hot tub all night. The deck is the best hang out spot and if it rains you can play pool and ping pong or cozy up and watch a movie. We also love the close proximity to the beach and town and try to go to both one or twice but leaving this wonderful house is just so hard. The owner Julie is easy to communicate with and will take care of anything. Until next year!

Already planning my next stay

Julie's house is amazing! My family and I spent a weekend here and we didn't want to leave. The location was perfect for our large group ranging from age 6 months to 70 years old. The house was very clean and had everything we needed from towels, linens, floats for kids and adults, Adirondack chairs, a grill, hot tub, games, pool table, fire pit, grocery store 8 mins away, etc.. We were able to just relax and not to have worry about a thing. Jenkins pond is in the back yard and was the nicest pond ive ever been to with nice & clear water. We spend the whole day there going from the pond to the hot tub. We ended the day watching the amazing sunset and making smores in the fire pit. This is truly a special place. We created lots of amazing memories during our stay and can't wait to go back. Thank you Julie for being so easy to communicate with and letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay here in July! The house is clean, the beds are comfortable and with six bedrooms, there was plenty of room for privacy for all 13 of us! Julie is very responsive to questions and concerns. The upper deck and the lower patio have perfect views of the beach and had a lovely breeze. There are plenty of boats, water toys, and chairs to enjoy at the waterfront and the water is clean and warm. And the boys all enjoyed the pool table/ping pong table and the older adults loved the bar and hot tub! We had a super week, and can’t wait to return! Thank you, Julie!

Great space, convenient location, and with a private beach!

It was really a great experience over the 4th of July week. We loved having the beach that gave shade in the morning and a gate to keep our boys contained lol. There is a small public beach next to the house for the locals which gave our daughter some people to play with. The house had plenty of beds in different sizes, great to give everyone their own space. The view was amazing with a nice little outdoor shower to rinse off before you come in.Parking right next to the house easily for 4 cars and not have to walk down a lot of stairs like many lake houses in the area was big plus!No washer and dryer so keep that in mind totally understandable. I would probably do the same thing. And lastly, an amazing AC system so the house was cold, and dry!

Great Location

Great outdoor spaces. Loved the kayaks, beach and fire pit. Our 2 year old grandson loved the outdoor shower. Our dog had a ball chasing squirrels in the fenced backyard. We would definitely stay again. Close to everything in Falmouth including Woodneck beach, our low tide favorite.

We had such a wonderful time! The location was great and there was the perfect amount of space. The host made sure to let us know we could check in early on the day of our arrival and leave late if needed. She also did a mid check in to make sure everything was going ok! The beach access was so great and we enjoyed kayaking and using the fire pit. All of the kids in our group really enjoyed the beach toys, bunk bed room, and the hot tub. Loved the quirky decor too, such a fun vibe. The only thing missing was laundry, but besides that it was just perfect! Definitely recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Cape.

Amazing spot for a larger group and a super host

Great location with its own sandy beach and plenty of water gear. 10-15 minute drive to beaches, shops and restaurants. Property looks exactly like in the listing. Our host, Julie, was amazing throughout, responding virtually immediately whenever we had a question or an issue.Would recommend considering this property to anyone coming in with a big group.
