"We have stayed here before and thought it was good. This time we were in the Coach House instead of the older building. It tried to be characterful but wasn't. It was probably built in the 80s and what little work that had been done on it since was not done well. It was tired and shabby. There were flies in the room, going into the bathroom and then sitting on the pillows! There were also flies in the Fat Abbot restaurant and the food left a lot to be desired, not the highly rated bistro pub...
