Family Gathering

This was a wonderful stay for us! The house was lovely and for our family of 6 perfectly with room to spare! We especially liked the cute shabby chic touches, including a bathroom closet filled with toiletries. So sweet to think of these extra amenities! We would definitely stay here again!

A Great Stay in East Aurora

My family and I have been staying at The Cottage on Big Tree Road for Christmas since 2019. The property is very comfortable, roomy, nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. Everything is well maintained, and every year we notice a few improvements. The owners, Jeni and Jason, are very pleasant, helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend this cottage.

Fabulous home

We had a great stay for a girls weekend birthday getaway. The home is beautiful as well as the whole property. She’s a great hostess!! The wedding barn is also beautiful and highly recommended. I definitely recommend this as a great place to stay. With many fun shops and good restaurants nearby

Family trip

Had a great experience with my family during our stay at this location. Everything was clear and organized and super easy to check in and check out. Great location with a nice stores and restaurants close by. Would definitely look to use this property again at a future stay!

Great stay

Family weekend

We came to WNY for a family event and this house was a beautiful home base for the weekend. Charming, lots of rooms with plenty of separation from one another, beautiful master bathroom, and well-appointed kitchen. The location, just outside of East Aurora on 20A, meant that great restaurants were 5 minutes away. We would gladly stay here again.

Just what we wanted

The cottage worked out perfectly for a group of us traveling to Buffalo to see our beloved Bengals play the Bills. The cottage had everything we needed (and then some). As advertised. We'd stay there again, certainly.

Amazing stay!

Family and I stayed to go see Luke Combs in concert and had a great time! We all loved the house, was very clean, very comfortable, lots of space for us to stay and communication with the homeowners was easy with quick response and really nice! There was everything that we needed and minutes to really cute shops and restaurants in town. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Great Family Holiday

2023 was the fourth Christmas my family and I have stayed here. As always, we had a great time celebrating the holidays with our extended family in Western NY. We continue to stay at this property because it is very nice, spacious and conveniently located. It is well equipped and exceptionally clean. The hostess, Jeni, and her staff are very nice and easy to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice vacation in WNY.

A perfect stay

Sparkling clean and well equipped. Came with everything you could need. Very roomy and comfortable and nicely decorated. The driveway and stairs to the house were completely cleared even after receiving 5 feet of snow before our arrival! Will definitely stay here again!

Great Place for Families

We stayed here with our children and grandchildren to visit with my father and siblings over the Christmas holidays. We found the house to be very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of linens for everyone. The location is great, being just a few minutes from the shops and restaurants in East Aurora. I highly recommend it.

Perfect beautiful property

Stayed with 4 girlfriends for long weekend. We were in town for a special event and this gave us a chance to hang out and the house was perfect for that. Rooms are inviting - living room was very comfortable and dining room as well for casual dining. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to cook and serve. Outdoor porch was comfortable to sit out for drinks. Highly recommend and would stay again.

A Total Eclipse Weekend

The Cottage was the perfect place for my family to await the total eclipse of 2024. Opening the door, we were welcomed by charming surroundings inviting us to enjoy a carefree stay. To give you an idea of her meticulous attention to details, Jeni even had eclipse glasses set out there for us. Everything we needed and more was there, including some great coffees. The clouds moved in to cover our eclipse view but we still enjoyed every minute in this very comfortable home away from home.

Family Wedding Stay

Excellent home rental!! This is by far the BEST VRBO we have stayed in, and we stay in multiple a year. The pictures describe the home perfectly. Our family were all impressed. You literally need to unpack your suitcases and pick up some groceries and you are all set! Anything you need is on location and the setting is beautiful! Weekend Ski Trip

I'm speaking for all of my group when we say we absolutely loved this house, it's location and our weekend was amazing. We we're taking our kids on their first ski trip (ages 3-6). We wanted something reasonable such as Kissing Bridge and a great town like East Aurora for the weekend. After a lot of research we settled on this house and we'd highly recommend it to anyone. It was 25 minutes from the ski resort, 5 minutes from town and a beautifully restored home to come back to. We will defiantly be back.

Go Bills!

We chose this property because of its location to seeing family and going to a Bills game. Great location and easy access. We did hear some of the street noise as others have mentioned but on the weekend it wasn’t too bad. Monday morning truck traffic was the heaviest; but we were up early to get on the road ourselves. Connecting to the Internet was our only hiccup - no one could access with the password info provided. We had everything else we needed for a great stay for our 8 person group!

Perfect spot. Great location.

We really enjoyed how close this house was to downtown East Aurora and how quickly we could access 400 to get downtown or to the airport. The house was great! Perfect for our party of 8. Of note, the stairs going up to second level are very steep. Not an issue for us but older guests or younger kids could struggle with those. Otherwise the house was very welcoming. Living room was very spacious and beds very comfy. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

Great Holiday Vacation!

We come to East Aurora annually to visit family in the area. We have stayed at the same property for three years running because it is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and exceptionally clean. The hosts, Jeni and Jason, are very nice and easy to work with. In that regard, this year was no exception. What was exceptional was that when winter storm Elliot hit, Jeni and Jason showed up with water, blankets, candles and propane heaters to ensure we would be comfortable if the power went out. The power stayed on, but thanks to their extra effort we would have been prepared had it gone out. As always, we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning next year.

Perfect for our Group

Great property, close to our event and local downtown. Set up well for our family. We really liked the upstairs bathroom set up for all of us. All supplies readily available. Struggled with the sound of the busy road. Took the country away for us. All of us (8) but our hearing impaired teen had to wear ear plugs. We now hail from the city and it was loud to sleep in the home. Feel this should be represented in the listing especially when owners are aware since they leave earplugs upstairs for guests! Also, we spent the first 24 hours without internet or TV until we finally realized the internet had been reset and the password given and left was no longer the set password. Once members of our group realized we needed the original password from the modem we were good to go. No thanks to the property manager who never replied to our inquiry on it. Coffee makers need descaling from use. Extremely slow, don’t brew proper amount and leak. Overall, a great property for a family even with our small hindrances.
