「We booked the room late (the day before) and on arrival, the beds were unmade, cleaning products still in the kitchen, windows uncleaned and full of bird poo. It was clear that we were not expected and to make it worse, we couldn’t reach the host to obtain the combination to the key fob lock box and the person we did contact, whilst extremely helpful, was the previous and not the current owner so it would appear that contact details are not updated.」

「We had a lovely few days at The Boat House. Interesting, well converted property that was well equipped with beautiful views across the fields (deer occasionally wandered through). Very quiet and peaceful in the charming village of Itchenor -ideal for coastal walks locally or to other interesting places -The Witterings, Chichester etc. Buddy, our cockapoo enjoyed his stay too!

「stayed one night, what a great place, everything was perfect, very close to the beach, really quiet at night, the owners provided fresh milk, orange juice, and some crisps, biscuits, and cereal. Loved the beach decor in the room, if I am ever back in the area will stay again.」

「I needed a large house at Bognor Regis for a family reunion. This house ticked all the boxes. A clean house, spacious rooms. provided towels and toiletries and lots more. It was warm and comfortable. Loved the decor.My family we impressed and hope to visit again.I would recommend this excellent property. 」

「Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in reception who was wonderful and very understanding when we accidentally booked the wrong date for checking out.
The location was great in Seaview, walking distance to the sea with some lovely eating places...

「This was our second stay at the cottage & it fits our needs very well. We are hoping to return on a regular basis, as it’s perfect for our needs.
However, I do think there is room for improvement - spruce things up a little. The property could do with a deep clean. The surface cleaning is fine, but the taps, carpets, chairs and cushions, for example, could do with a good clean to remove stains.
- The microwave is very old, as are a lot of the utensils and it would be a good idea to replace...
