「The toilet was leaking, the skirting boards in the bathroom looked in need of some paint, the mattress/quilt/pillows were all badly stained」

「The Beachside is an excellent choice for anyone going to Redcar. It’s exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I’m booked again for Blam Blam next year it’s such a great place to stay A+++++」

「Absolutely disgusting. Smelt like human piss HORRENDOUSLY. Carpet was miss coloured from stains. Burn marks on blanket. Bed was floor level. Smelt like fresh current cigarette even tho there’s no smoking signs. Would absolutely not stay here!!!!!!! My clothes all smelt the next day. I backpacked Thailand and nothing was this gross. 」

「There aren’t many shops nearby, mostly regional or country-specific stores. It’s hard to find what I want. The highlight is the convenience location for a short drive or public transportation away from town, but two things are inconvenient: the hot water for showers only lasts a short time, and the breakfast options are very limited for the price I paid.」

「This place is basically for homeless people. Not clean and service is so bad. Avoid at any cost.」
