We had a fantastic stay at Walkersons. Great hotel with friendly staff. The restaurant serves fabulous food paired with a well crafted wine selection. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and super clean. The estate is well kept, providing for a very peaceful stay.

Could not fault Walkersons - beautiful setting & great staff right from Alex the GM who could not do enough to Nurse on reception & all the bar & catering team.

What a wonderful retreat. Be prepared for tranquility and old school service. If you crave the bright lights this is not for you, should you wish to refresh then come here.

Nearly there but not quite 5 star

Had a lovely stay. Staff and service was excellent. The only criticism I have is that the room had a couple of maintenance issues like a mouldy shower and a couple of missing tiles in the bathroom detracting from the 5 star experience. Dinner was overall enjoyable, however the menu can offer more local options and focus more on country cooking as one would expect from a country lodge. Breakfast was however excellent and the whiskey oats is always a favourite

Walkersons is a great getaway to the scenic countryside. Gorgeous views, relaxing and very serene. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Make sure to try the Walforf salad. The unit we stayed in (Gretel), was clean and cozy, but has aged over time and needs a modern upgrade.

The pearl in the Dullstroom oyster

Another wonderful long weekend stay at this unique place. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional and observant. Guy the kitchen Chef even arranged sourdough rye bread for breakfast for us. The post-Covid out- and inside maintenance work has not gone unnoticed and added to the overall pleasant experience.

Wonderful stay at Walkersons! The rooms need a bit of an upgrade and maintenance. For example, the door in our unit didn’t close properly. In our previous visits, fires were packed and ready to be lit - only heating in the rooms, missed that small touch. Other than that, a very comfortable stay.

The place needs a revamp, the furniture is chipped for a 5 star standard. The whole 5 star expectation was'nt there and was lacking on all spheres, accommodation, food and decor and service. Even the spa treatment was underpar compared to other 5 star establishments.

Excellent Stay at Walkersons

We loved our 2nd stay at Walkersons Hotel & Spa. The staff are professional and very courteous and the food was delicious. Our room had excellent extras, Charlotte Rhys products in the bathroom and a well stocked tea/coffee/bar fridge. We loved the natural surroundings and the birding was excellent.
