This cabin was fantastic. The pictures and other reviews are completely accurate. The house is part of a small community within Duck Creek, and if you are looking for a chance to leave behind the city or suburbs, this is the place to go.
Our family used this house as a starting point for trips to Zion, Bryce, and we also took a hike locally through the Dixie National Forest to the waterfall. The temperatures in the summer are cooler than at the canyons due to the elevation and the trees.
If you are looking for a lot of shops, restaurants and amenities, this is the wrong place. It is secluded and you bring with you whatever you need.
Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable, and our 2 boys immensely enjoyed the basement bunk beds and home theater system. The covered deck was fantastic for us to be outdoors and eat breakfast in the mornings or play cards in the evenings. Although you get the occasional loud ATV in the area, for the most part, the area is very quiet. Had we stayed longer, we would've also been part of the ATV brigade.
The only two minor complaints - there are not enough drinking glasses in the kitchen, and dealing with hauling trash away during check-out was an annoyance because there are no clear markings in the house or in the community on where the dumpsters are located.
