Only a few blocks away from the famous 4th St Elevator is this One-Of-A-
Kind 2 KING BED 2 bedroom Townhouse.

The main floor is a wide open space ready for fun or relaxation. We pulled out all the stops with this place from a one of a kind bar, dart board, smart TV, plus fast and free internet, and Hulu Live. With Sofa sleeper it sleeps 6.

The backyard is perfect to spend the night under the stars. There is plenty of
off street parking. We welcome you to our home!

Cons: Wet sheets in the washer. Dishes in the dishwasher. Only 2 towels in the bathroom, when we booked for 4 people. WiFi not strong enough to watch a show, buffered every 3 min. Moldy air conditioning unit in the window in March: Letting in barking dog noise and cool air on a cold day. Very squeaky bed/uneven mattress. Had to check out early due to blizzard / 6-8 inches of snow coming, no option for even a partial refund. Maintenance needed on bath towel rack.Pros: parking spot, location in Dubuque close to everything. Recommend: Having decaf coffee available, communicating better with guests. When I suggested that we may not come at all due to weather, host did not say any fees would be refunded until I suggested such.

My wife and I stayed over the weekend on Feb 21. The unit's location was the perfect spot for our plans. However, we encountered a serious issue upon our 4 PM check-in. The heating system had been turned off, and the interior temperature was 37F. It took nearly 6 hours to bring the unit up to a comfortable 68F. This made our stay quite uncomfortable.I understand that mechanical issues can happen. I notified the owner, and she was very responsive; however, getting to sleep was a challenge, and using a freezing-cold bathroom was a deal-breaker.

The host was very easy to communicate with and kind. House was small but perfect for what we needed! The two rooms are up a steep/tall flight of stairs and it was on for us but if you can't do stairs this may not be the VRBO for that would meet your needs. Beds were comfy and house was clean. Bathroom was on the main floor near the living room and kitchen. It snowed several inches over night and the porch and walkway were cleared by 8 am and salted. Thank you!

The property was as described - very clean, kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds. It should be noted that it does have stairs to enter/exit most rooms, including the kitchen and bedrooms. Just a heads up for families with small children and people with limited mobility.

The doors were unlocked when we arrived. The deadbolt was used to prop open the door. We were a bit nervous when we walked in and yelled hello in case someone was inside still. The back patio door was inlocked also. The patio furniture looked a bit worn, and decised not to sit outside at night. The decking looked a bit shaky also, i didnt walk on to it. The stairs leading to the upstairs were very steep (my knees didnt like it much). King size mattress was pretty lumpy. The overall stay was good. We had a great time despite the few issues we encountered.

Great place to stay in dubuque

This is a great spot when visiting in and around Dubuque. Make sure to take the elevator (short walk) in to town, get some drinks and ice cream. But definitely don’t want to walk back up the hill.

Terrific Townhouse in Dubuque

We had a great stay! The townhouse is exactly as pictured. It has everything you need for a stay. We only stayed for one night, but found it to be decorated nicely, super clean, and in a nice neighborhood close to anything you might want to do while in Dubuque.

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet

I loved this townhouse. Comfortable, quiet, easy access to downtown and to other areas in Dubuque. Take the Fenelon elevator! Worth the view and the historic significance. The houses in the area are beautiful. The place was decorated nicely and had everything I needed for a business stay including space to set up my ‘office’ space in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, great shower, easy in and out. The steep stairs and step up to the bedrooms on the second floor with bathroom on the first floor should be mentioned in the description. Definitely would have been difficult for anyone who gets up in the night or who are older.
