My daughter and I booked the first floor room at Villa Doris. It’s a studio apartment, so it is one medium sized room and the bathroom. There is a closet outside the bathroom, sitting area with a coffee table, a small fridge with a microwave and a coffee machine on top of it, and 2 twin beds. The amount of space and storage was adequate for us. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We did not have a sea view. Our terrace area just had a view of the driveway. But the beach was a mere 5 minute walk from our room. The beach is made of smooth rocks and has a beautiful view with clean, clear waters. There’s a local tavern right on the beach. I enjoyed the neighborhood, because it felt safe and friendly. The owners treated us well and responded to our requests. We very much enjoyed the 3 restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast offered by the owners is excellent. This property is about 15 minutes to Dubrovnik, We might have enjoyed a few small amenities like coffee cups and a mat to put outside the shower to absorb water.

The property is comfortable and in a great area - only a short walk to the beach, which is down the front steps. The beach is quite, secluded, away from the tourist hotspots but equally, if not, nicer. The hosts were lovely and very helpful.

Very small village

We stayed in separate building by number 8 with separate terrace. Inside all essentials, even capsule coffee machine but capsules are different than in supermarket, owner provided as many as we needed. Minuses are ants that are everywhere outside the building and in the kitchen despite the fact that no food was in it. Kitchen was not clean. Had to clean open shelve that was very dirty, 2 cupboards with plates, glasses, cups and kitchen essentials because hair was in it. We stayed 8 nights and no cleaning was done even once, no bed sheets were changed in 8 nights. Towels were changed once. Village is very small. 2 restaurants and no shop (even small one) in the area. Need to have a car or take Uber to more glossary store.

Very dissppointed in the stay at this property. Would never come back. I booked with expedia 2 queen beds an apartment of fair size of 500 sq feet. not only did i not get 2 queen beeds nor fair size apartnent opposite double bed and a sofa bed with the room being around 300 sq feet very small. When i asked the property owner she stated we dont have sonething like that. Well then why am i paying for sonething i didnt ask for. Whether the listing wrong on expedia website or inaccuracy of the property owner shame on both of them.

Property was in a beautiful area, the room itself was also nice for 3 people, but unfortunately there were ants all over the room and bug spray could not keep them out. Traveling companions and I had to spray everyday. Also - not the property’s fault, but it is HARD trying to get any uber/bolt to come out there. Myself and my traveling companions all had to keep trying multiple times on the app until someone accepted the ride. Renting a car is the way to go.

Villa Doris is pleasantly cute, its located off the main road to Dubrovnik depending on which way you travel. Rosa, the owner, is awesome although there is a very small language barrier. Its a 1 minute walk to the bay which has a pleasent beach and a small restaurant. It is a very basic self catering apartment and if you're travelling on a budget, its worth the money. Rosa and her husband were excellent hosts. They even offered to drive us to the market so we wouldn’t walk in the heat. They were right there and assisted us when needed. There were ample kitchen accessories, a stovetop and microwave, but no shampoo, conditioner, or soap bar in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and there were extra blankets. The view of the sea was amazing.
