Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man zu Fuß gut erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter waren nett und als es Probleme mit meiner Dusche gab habe ich auch am gleichen Tag ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Die Betten waren auch für Einzelzimmer schön groß.

The property is empty student rooms that are advertised as double rooms they have a small double bed .. 1 desk chair .. a shared kitchen only 1 fridge working.. the building is unbearable hot .. shared lounge tv didn't work .. no ironing facilities... no kettles in the rooms .. doors dont lock automatically and they rattle in the wind .. no aircon .. very busy roadside location..

Great location but that's about it

The the bed was really comfortable. Nice private space. Great location. The apartment could do with a bit of TLC around the kitchen. The shower pressure was the worst I've ever come across. At some stages it was just a dribble of water. I did highlight this at reception but it didn't improve. There was a horrible pungent smell in the room and it was coming from the bathroom. The bathroom was consistently damp and the shower was slow to drain so I'd say that was the issue.

The reviews on this have been variable so it’s time to weigh in with my own. Bottom line - if you want a decent stay for a cost-effective price, DO consider this. If you’re looking for the Ritz, it’s probably wrong for you. This is normally student accommodation and so is way better than a hostel while not being a hotel. You get your own, modern, fairly smart room with an en suite shower room and toilet. There’s also a modern shared kitchen/TV area with oven and microwave and washing up facilities just down the corridor. The crockery, kettle etc seemed to have come from Ikea and some were still in their plastic, to give you an idea. The fridge/freezer looked new as far as cleanliness goes. Yes, the shower was a bit slow to drain (design flaw I think), but that’s as bad as it got. Bella on reception was ever-pleasant and helpful and I was able to leave my suitcase for a few hours on the last day. This place is on the edge of the centre, so not a bad location. There are one or two places to eat, plus takeaways and convenience stores in easy walking distance. I personally feel I nailed it with this as a choice for a cheap city break - it met my expectations and did the job very nicely. Recommendation for a good break? Leave your car at home and order yourself a visitor’s Leap Card to get around. Dublin hates cars and has pretty great bus, train and tram (Luas) systems. I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t go far wrong.

Vi oplevede to meget forskellige personaler i receptionen. Da vi ankom, var der super god betjening, men da vi senere havde brug for hjælp, blev vi mødt af en mand, der ikke virkede serviceminded. Vi kunne ikke få komfuret til at tænde, og han var modstræbende ift. at komme os til hjælp. Senere spurgte vi ham, om der gik busser til lufthavnen henover natten, da vi skulle være i lufthavnen kl. 4 am. Vi fik at vide, at der ingen busser gik i Dublin natten mellem lørdag og søndag før kl. 7 om morgenen. Det undrede vi os over, men blev affejet og han tilbød at bestille en taxa for os. Vi bestemte os for at undersøge det selv, og der gik både bybusser 300 m. fra hotellet og lufthavnsbussen (også på samme gade som hotellet). Vi valgte bybussen, som kostede 2,60€ pr. person, en Uber ville have kostet 30-33€. Jeg tænker, at hvis man arbejder i receptionen på et hotel, må man være forberedt på spørgsmål vedrørende transport til lufthavnen og om ikke andet undersøge mulighederne, inden man svarer.
