"The Schenectady county fair was being held right outside the hotel. It was a disaster to get into the hotel parking lot because of road closures for the fair. The music was extremely loud in the rooms until 10:30 PM. Toms of people just lingering, smoking pot in the parking lot and entrance, The hosts were great, the rooms and grounds were clean but very old and worn. "We had trouble at check in. It was a computer issue,not the clerks fault. Entry door was dragging when opening or closing,very noisy. There were dead insects on the bathroom ceiling over the mirror. Shower/tub faucet dripped. Outside the grounds could use a little better maintenance,ie,mowing/trimming."

"I stayed here 1 night with a friend with whom I was on a bikepacking trip. We found Microtel to be very clean, well-lit and in very good repair. The staff was courteous and helpful. The included breakfast was similar to what is served at travel hotels. It was more than adequate and got us off to a good start the next day."
