My room blew me away. It was spacious, clean, had amazing kitchen amenities (nespresso machine, milk frother, electric kettle, hot plate) and both a waterfall shower and separate tub. It was a luxurious and calming space to have as my home base during my stay. The only night that it was loud outside was Saturday night, Sunday and Monday night I didn't hear anything.

Very disappointing stay — not the 4-star experience advertised My stay at The Alexander Hotel – Old Montreal was extremely disappointing. The room was not properly maintained or cleaned, including blood on the sheets and a burnt-out light bulb that I had to replace myself. More concerning, while I was away, housekeeping moved my luggage and personal belongings out of the room after the hotel had refused my request to remain in the same room. This was unacceptable and made me very uncomfortable. I raised these issues with the hotel, but I felt the response did not adequately reflect the seriousness of what happened. Given the condition of the room and how my belongings were handled, I expected much better from a property marketed as a 4-star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. I asked for compensation for all my troubles they haven’t rectified anything - even the request from expedia they denied. - terrible hotel

Great spot
