A beautiful place to re energise
What is not to like about this property? It's cosy, clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and easy to contact but respected our privacy. Complimentary breakfast items and wine were provided along with fire wood and cooking staples. The bed was super comfortable. This place is in such a beautiful setting with an idyllic view over the valley. We sat for hours on the deck listening to the sounds of nature around us, watching the sun come up or the night slowly set in. A surprise bonus was we were lucky enough to watch the Aurora Australis turn the night sky to a riot of colour during the recent geomagnetic storm. All of these components made for a magical stay. We have already recommended Iron bark cabin to several friends and would love to return again soon. Thanks to Heather and family for creating this beautiful place.

Beautiful Property!
We had a wonderful stay at this property for the weekend. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It turned quite cold the weekend we were there (goodbye summer), but we stayed plenty warm. There was a fire pit outside and a wood burning fireplace inside as well. After exploring the local area, we spent our evenings on the deck with a glass of wine, watching the bunnies and kangaroos in the paddock - so much serenity! Heather was an excellent host. Friendly and good communication. Would happily stay here again if we’re in the area.

Stars and relaxation
This was a lovely break from the city for us. This cute cabin was beautifully clean and while compact was all the space we needed to relax and unwind. The check in was a breeze and the complimentary bottle of wine was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This property was the perfect getaway from the hustle and grind of our everyday city life. The cabin contained everything we needed in terms of cooking facilities and we especially loved the fresh bread, eggs, home made jam and milk that Heather provided on arrival. QUIET RURAL GETAWAY
Lovely views across valley to distant ranges.Cosy open wood fire on cold winter nights. Would recommend couples. Not suitable for children as they would be easily bored by the serenity! Note from the main sealed road to the property is 1km of unsealed road.
