  • Escape to our historic farmhouse located in the heart of Midcoast Maine. Ideally situated between the Kennebec and Eastern Rivers with excellent local hikes. Within walking distance to National Historic sites such as The Pownalborough Courthouse , Historic New England Bowman House and Swan Island. Minutes to some of Maine's best places for shopping and dining including Wiscasset, Bath, Freeport, Damariscotta, Boothbay Harbor and Camden/Rockport. A short drive to Portland and the sandy beaches of Popham and Reid State Park.
    Our 5 bedroom, one and half bath farmhouse contains a spacious, equipped kitchen and dining for six. Two spacious living rooms and library featuring Maine titles and space for games, puzzles or cards. Enjoy a lovely evening on the deck overlooking 17 private acres!

This is an absolutely beautiful property and location. The house has been restored with love and excellent craftsmanship. And the owners are very responsive and accommodating.

Charming antique farmhouse with lots of room. Convenient to Wiscasset (10 min), Newcastle (20 min), Boothbay Harbor (30 min), and Freeport (35 min). Richmond, the next town over, has a cute pub, ice cream stand, and mini golf. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot, clean and spacious

Classic New England farmhouse kept very clean and with lots of space. Convenient location and easy check in with good parking. Wish I'd had time to look for turtles!

Our stay at this beautiful vintage farmhouse was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the home’s timeless character and thoughtful aesthetic. It perfectly blends historic charm with comfort, making it feel both authentic and welcoming. It truly felt like stepping back in time while still having everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.The surrounding property was just as special. We loved the open fields, nearby river and quiet countryside. The farmhouse was also an ideal home base for discovering Midcoast Maine. We loved visiting Bath, spending time in Boothbay Harbor and New Harbor, exploring the breathtaking Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and taking in the incredible views at Pemaquid Lighthouse. Each destination was truly stunning and unique. If you’re looking for a place that captures the beauty, history, and peaceful spirit of Maine, this farmhouse is truly something special. We made wonderful memories here and would happily return. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Maine getaway.

Fabulous Eastman Farm!

Our family had a truly wonderful time! The property is absolutely lovely, and it really felt like our home away from home! We sat around the table for hours talking and laughing! We walked down to the river and enjoyed nature! The historic Bowman House (1762) and the Pownalborough Court House (1761) are near by and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. We did some antique shopping, visited the Botanical Gardens, toured Old Fort Western (1754) in Augusta and visited several lighthouses. We were so sad to leave and enjoyed every minute of our time in Maine. It's definitely the best rental we've ever stayed in!!!

August family trip

My family is our daughter (who has Down Syndrome), my husband and myself. We stayed 9 days at the farm house while visiting our sons family in Richmond. The house is very comfortable with plenty of room. My husband left early to return to work leaving our daughter and I at the house and we felt very safe. Everything you need is easy to find in the house. One idea to share is if you are coming to watch tv you might want to bring your fire stick to give you more options. However we did not come to watch tv so it was no biggie for us. Communication, check in and out was extremely easy. We will definitely stay here again. We felt
