The cabin offers all the amenities we needed for a cozy and comfortable stay, and the hot tub, tucked away in its own private spot, made it even more special.One of the highlights of this cabin is the porch—perfect for enjoying your morning cup of coffee while listening to the soothing sounds of a babbling creek below and taking in the mountain views. For those looking to balance relaxation with adventure, Pisgah National Forest is nearby, offering a variety of outdoor activities. And if you’re craving a taste of small-town charm, Weaverville’s quaint downtown is just a short drive away, with a few great restaurants that give you a warm, welcoming vibe.Although Douglass Falls Hiking area is still closed, we discovered the Straight Creek trail nearby, which was an easy-to-moderate in-and-out route that featured its own little waterfall.The area still has some lovely signs of Helene's presence. We appreciated how much this retreat offered a balance between seclusion and proximity to both nature and nearby town life. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and recharge in a peaceful woodland."

"The back deck overlooking the waterfall below is alone enough to make this the perfect retreat. It's quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Very clean. It was a great place for me to work as I was in the area to cover disaster recovery work by The Fuller Center for Housing, while it was also close enough to Asheville and Weaverville for my wife and mother to explore shops, restaurants, and, of course, the Biltmore. It strikes the perfect balance of getting away from it all while not getting TOO far away from it all. I'd enjoy a chance to return here just to relax instead of work. I could picture myself staying here for a few days of retreat without ever leaving. Also, the Starlink internet worked great, which is very important in this area of currently sketchy cell service.On a side note, the Ingles grocery store in Weaverville is one of the best grocery stores I've ever been to, so you don't need to drag all your food from home."

"I want to put a bad review so no one else will come find this amazing gem, but I can't! It is simply a breathtaking view! The rooms are clean and bed super comfortable. Dining room is huge and coffee/tea provided. We met some lovely couples and even shared a breakfast together one morning and stargazed too. Perfect place for a wedding or family reunion or church retreat! We will def be back again! "
