「This wonderful pub is a gem. We stayed for two nights and found the staff, especially Daniel, to be friendly and efficient. Our rooms were very comfortable and nicely fitted out. The meals are fantastic! Their chef is very talented and serves food that would not be out of place in any high end restaurant. 「We had a cheerful, warm welcome and easy check in. The room was small but spotless and the ensuite bathroom clean and everything worked. The shower was simple to operate and reasonably powerful. The breakfast was good, tasty and plentiful. This is a good, reasonably priced hotel and will be our first choice when we return to Pitlochry」

「We chose to stay hear because it was our dream on this backpacking trip to stay in a castle. The castle is beautiful, warm, with the wood fireplace burning. I will say that for a very old property they keep it extremely unkept. It is of older charm, so keep that in mind (older carpets, less electrical plugs). The food , staff, and the stay was amazing, I only wish we weren’t backpacking so we could’ve stayed longer. One thing to note are that the parking situation threw us off alittle because...
