My only slight issue was the AC. The owner offered to install two window units. Just really didn’t wanna bother. We had a small AC unit in the LR. We were just not used to the humidity. Other than that it was very quaint. I would stay again for sure. Clean, cute and well stocked. Loved the outdoors. And the bathroom is small. I stayed with my daughter so it worked.

Perfect house for a small family

This house was perfect for exploring all that Delaware has to offer! Close to beaches and state parks and the house was extremely comfortable and clean. Will definitely be booking this house again for future vacations.

Never Disappoints

This is my 3rd stay at Grandma’s Cottage and it didn’t disappoint. It’s quaint, convenient to all things Milford, Dover and the beaches. I consider it my home away from home when I am in the area. I’ll be back.

Grandma’s Cottage was very spacious, clean, cozy & close to many stores, restaurants, hiking trails, fishing lakes & even the Casino. The hosts (Helen & TJ) could not have provided a better experience. Everything you could need was provided. This was our 2nd time staying.

Warm, cozy and clean

Enjoyed my short stay of peace and quiet that I needed for a few days away to focus on a project. The place worked out just fine. Exactly as shown in pictures and description. Cottage was very clean, relaxing, and close to the sports fields. Owner communicated well and was so very kind to let us know we left some items behind so we could go back & retrieve them after we ate lunch. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for rest and relaxation!

Our family was in town for a sports tournament weekend. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable for the 3 of us! We were able to rest and unwind after long days on the fields. We were able to cook meals and had a lovely stay. The host communication was great and easy through the app! Thank you for an excellent get away!

Tranquil Cottage

Enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage that looks out onto a lake lake. Gorgeous views. Loved sitting on the dock, watching the birds. Quiet neighborhood. Very relaxing and peaceful environment. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend.

Grandma's cottage was so quaint, welcoming and nostalgic. The cottage was clean the property was clean. It was so very quiet yet only 5 minutes from so many stores for shopping. It felt like a warm hug from Grandma just walking thru the door. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back! 10 stars

We loved the beauty of the surroundings, and the peace and quiet that make it a very restful place. We met the hosts and they were very hospitable and kind. The views of the lake provide wonderful opportunities for sketching and painting—and for simply enjoying! And, the cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very welcoming.

The cottage was quaint and met the needs we had just fine. Great working heat and plenty to cook with if desired, coffee was fantastic! The only unexpected thing was the house located directly next to the cottage (I’d estimate less than 12 feet to the left). In the original photos I saw that convinced me to book, it appeared the cottage was more private than it actually is, but we still had an overwhelming positive stay!

Grandma's Cottage

Our overall experience was Awesome...!!! We were there to attend a family's homegoing services, and the hosts made our stay very relaxing, peaceful and they provided the comfort that my daughter and I needed.... I would book them again...!!! They are also centrally located so that everything you need is only 5 to 10 minutes away.

Home away from home

We were in town for the Time of Harvest conference at Lighthouse Church. Grandmas Cottage was perfect! It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the stay so much that we are planning to stay again the next time we visit Milford. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Grandma cottage

Great clean place! My mom came down and I stayed with her at the cottage. I was a nice little getaway even for me with the lake out back. We used the grill every night. This is a hidden gem!!!

Fall Get Away

I have stayed at several short stay rentals in the Milford area and Grandma’s Cottage is by far my favorite. The cottage is quaint with all the essentials. I loved being on the lake with the calls of the Canadian geese. The fall colors were spectacular. It was just what I was looking for.

Very Relaxing, Immaculate Accommodations

Grandma’s Cottage was exactly what we needed ! It was very quiet, with many nice hiking trails, fishing spots, stores & restaurants just a short drive away. The cottage was so clean & comfortable, with a beautiful lake setting. Everything we needed and more was provided. Helen & TJ were great hosts & take great pride in maintaining Grandma’s Cottage. They were very friendly & right next door if we needed anything…yet gave us our privacy. We’ve already booked a return trip. You won’t be disappointed if you book a getaway to Grandma’s Cottage !!
