This hotel was probably gorgeous when it was new. It’s obviously older now. The furniture and fixtures definitely showed some wear. All the important stuff was great though. The a/c worked awesome, the room was pest free, the appliances worked, and we got a good night’s sleep.

This property has not been updated in decades. The room was filthy, the pillows old and flat, and there was no hot water in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel.

I hope that other travelers see the reviews and don’t stay here. As we were checking in we had a bad feeling but tried to give it a chance. We got to our room and noticed it was very dirty. There were brown marks that looked like blood or poop on the walls , a horrible smell , and blood on the bathroom counter. The room smelled awful and it just kept getting worse. The window was broken and unable to be closed all the way or locked and the lock on the door was broken. We left and stayed elsewhere. I’m sure any positive review on this place is made up. Don’t stay here.

The only nice thing about this property is the pool. Otherwise it looked like it should be a condemned building. I would never stay here again and if you have children, I would highly recommend not staying here. It didn’t feel safe and it was extremely dirty.

I think the Douglas conference center and Inn was unfortunately highly unacceptable to stay in the window in our room was not even available to be locked. The room showed signs of dis Repair. The walls had patches on them. The wallpaper was coming off in the shower, the shower was dirty along with the bathtub so there were very very many signs of just needing to be totally updated. The breakfast was a joke! Awful! Dirty & unclean I wouldn’t spend $75 to stay in this motel vs the OVERPRICED $137! We should get our money back!
