The Space:
Built in the 1870s by William Graham Tisdale, Chateau d’Vine offers a unique stay filled with Victorian touches, artistic accents, and thoughtful amenities. The main house features five bedrooms, multiple ensuite baths, a spacious living area with an electric fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining room perfect for shared meals. Upstairs, guests will find additional bedrooms, a bunk room, and a full bath—creating ample space for larger groups to enjoy privacy when needed.
Three charming cottages (available April–November) add even more flexibility, each with its own bedroom and private bath. A dedicated recreation room in the converted garage offers a TV area, poker and card tables, and more than 100 board games. Outdoors, relax in the hot tub overlooking expansive natural wetlands, enjoy lawn games, fire up the grill for dinner, or gather around the bonfire for s’mores.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the main farmhouse, backyard spaces, hot tub, recreation room, and parking areas. Entry is completely self-guided with a smart lock for easy check-in any time after 4:00 PM. During winter months (November–March), the three cottages are closed, and max occupancy reflects main-house capacity. Outdoor furniture may be winterized depending on weather. Up to two dogs are welcome with advance notice and a pet fee.

Located on the border of Saugatuck and Douglas, the home sits in a peaceful, nature-rich area just minutes from both towns. Douglas offers boutique shops, antique stores, cafés, and local art studios, while Saugatuck is known for its vibrant arts scene, waterfront views, and summer festivals. The home is conveniently located for walking, biking, or driving. Downtown Douglas and the Chain Ferry are within a 15-minute walk, while most beaches, wineries, and attractions are a quick drive away. Rideshares are available seasonally, and the Interurban on-call transit service offers easy, affordable transportation throughout Douglas, Saugatuck, and Fennville for just $1 per ride.

Bring your furry friends along on your next vacation! Please let us know in advance if you're bringing your pets with you. We happily welcome up to two dogs on our premises. A dog guest fee charge of $145 will apply (emotional support included and feline friends are prohibited).

All of our vacation rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your booking will include applicable taxes, a cleaning fee along with a safety and damage protection policy. We want to ensure the safety and security of our guests and properties. When you book a vacation home with us, you will be required to sign a rental agreement after booking along with completing a verification process. To complete the verification, you will be contacted via email and/or text message. Please be sure to complete this before your arrival, so we can confirm your reservation. Prior to booking, please reach out to us directly if you would like to see the rental agreement.
We recommend securing travel insurance to protect your investment should you need to cancel your reservation outside of the allotted window or due to inclement weather or any other factor.
