"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. "Love the spacious heritage rooms here, but book ones facing Martin Place as they are more quiet. Breakfast has variety, includes miso soup etc. Staff were always helpful. Centrally located but super close to the city circle trainline, which connects to/from the airport, so if wanting to walk from station to hotel, jump off at St James or Wynyard and prepare to walk with luggage for 5 minutes. Beats traffic chaos!"
