「Was a very comfortable room and bed. Hotel clean tidy and welcoming.」

「The staff were all friendly,inviting and hard working, the room was basic but perfect for us, comfy bed,was warm and adequate for our needs. The evening meal was lovely as was the breakfast and reasonably priced. If your one of those snobs who run fingers along skirting boards or delve into the various crevices in bathrooms then don't stay but if your like us ...enjoy a nice warm comfortable room, happy staff and excellent food then the regent is perfect for you. Definitely will stay again 」

「Came to visit the Brew York taproom and this was a great location (we climbed through the fence to get there). Ample parking and large comfy bed. Big walk in shower. Would stay again.」

「As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Zoe. She was fantastic. So welcoming and friendly. My room was fantastic. So comfortable and spacious and clean. Everything here was wonderful and I can't wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 」

「Basic rooms but clean and functional. Used to be the Campanile chain. Evening meal in bar area was okay and full English breakfast was very good.A reasonably priced hotel. It's not 5 star but adequate for a short stay. Staff were friendly. 」

「Overnight stop en route from London to Keswick. We were made very welcome by reception and the room was warm, clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The evening meal was pricey for what was basically a bar meal, but the quality was high. We would have welcomed a "Senior's Portion" as we felt unable to tackle the attractive dessert menu. In the morning, a hot shower and a excellent hearty breakfast set us on our way.」

「The landord and lady are excellant, parking brilliant right next to the roons, bar is lovelt and the meals are good. Only one thing we would have liked to have been in the room for 3 pm but couldnt get in until 4 pm when the pub opened」

「Well-appointed B&B, very comfortable rooms and excellent provision for breakfast (considering it is in the room). Hosts are welcoming and definitely got the impression they really care about looking after their guests. Will be back!」
