「The Carton house is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Dublin. The grounds are lovely. The walk to Town is about 30 minutes and well worth it as there are other historical sites to visit in the town. The interior of the Carton house is modern but historical features remain throughout. Make sure you make dinner reservations well before you get there as the restaurants on property fill up quickly. The activities should also be booked well in advance. Many we wished to do...
