"Nice rooms. Attractive classic common areas with outstanding bar and kitchen."

"No parking in the parking garage, rooms were not checked before stay. A lamp was missing a bulb, telephone cord was ripped out of the wall. Room was set up for 2 instead of 4 (we had 4 people on the reservation), the ac beeped even after maintenance came and fixed it. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. Food was delicious and the waiter was great despite being short staffed and having to double as a host. "

"Room was clean had a nice view of the pool. No complimentary water in the room. A fan was provided in lieu of poor air conditioning. The TV was not a smart TV… these amenities are pretty basic in other hotels in the same area with a lower nightly rates. You are not allowed food from outside the hotel in the pool area even though their kitchen and bar close early. "

"This was a nice hotel. We did have a bit of an odd experience. My husband encountered an incredibly drunk individual directly off the elevator on our floor at about 10 - 10:30 at night. This person wasn’t staying at the hotel, but apparently came to the hotel to go to the bar that is on the rooftop. He was so drunk, he was unconscious, so my husband called hotel staff, who contacted 911. It wasn’t a great situation as he was throwing up all over the place, and in and out of consciousness. They ended up taking the man to the hospital. My husband stayed during the whole thing. They took my husband’s information, but we never heard from hotel staff to apologize, or thank him for finding this guy. Very odd. I’m not sure I was say this is a family friendly hotel. At the pool, we encountered folks vaping, drinking, and scantily clad. If I ever return to El Paso, I would probably look elsewhere. Breakfast isn’t included, and there isn’t much in terms of stores around the hotel. Overall, the staff was great and friendly, just not sure it was what I was expecting. "

"Kern Beach House is a great option for a large family. Location is wonderful aWith ample room in the living areas to hang out and visit. The pool and pool tabke are such great extras to keep everyone entertained. The home is clean and there were plenty of towels and linens for our grouo of 8.Matthew was very responsive. We will stay again when jn ELP.If cooking, make sure to bring/buy all ingredients. The kitchen has many utencils, but no spices, not even salt or sugar for coffee. "
