Great location, lovely breakfast with the birds

Lovely location, room was comfortable, but stand out was the friendly staff at breakfast. We didn't catch his name, but he was an excellent, told us about all the birds and showed us video of them and a sloth on his phone. Pool was nice too.

Hard workers

It was the best. WE had one issue with hot water, and they immediately moved us to another room. The room was clean and the improvements being done to the property look like it's going to be even better. The staff worked long hours without complaint and were so positive. The property felt secure to the outside world.

Great Beach Access

Wonderful staff make for a pleasant stay. Great beach access. Good security. Breakfast is good. Some of the buildings are showing their age and occasional outages occur but it’s a nice place to stay. Nice pool and gardens

This is a lovely little hotel - close to the beach. It was quiet and the pool is very nice. We were disappointed with the bed size and comfort. We may be spoiled, but comfortable queen or king size beds would be a very nice option for a repeat visit!

Unique place. Artistic grounds and pool. Good AC shower not so much. But this place is al about location, location, location. Fantastic beach with waves breaking two minutes from your door. Can't beat that.

Average hotel, but good for the area

Not bad, but not great. Pretty good for being by Dominical beach. Aren't many options. The rooms are very basic and dated. The grounds are okay. Restaurant is okay. Very short walk to the beach. Also not far to the main shopping area. So it's convenient.

Location is superb! Walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. Pool was also nice. The property could use updating and repairs. Room was average and very dark with one window. The room bedding definitely needs updating. A/C worked great. Priced a bit high, but overall had a good stay and can't beat the great location.

This place tries to bill itself as a resort, but its on the lower end of a resort. They do have a pool, but not that great. There are a lot of birds here, so its a little noisy in the morning. The room was just a basic room, nothing to talk about, just a place to sleep. The free breakfast was just plain, compared to other places that I stayed at in CR. They had plenty of parking here and we felt safe.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at check in ((Alexander ✔️). The pool was lovely and the location is great for the beach and walkable into main area for multiple restaurant choices I was very disappointed that there was no WiFi in my room and I had to leave my area to use my phone. I would have appreciated being able to access WiFi in a cool room instead of intense heat outside. Some rooms were within range of WiFi so you may want to request if needed. I couldn’t adjust the shower temp as the control was out of my reach…..and I’m 5’4”. The music from the pool area bar kept me awake most of the night but possibly this is a weekend issue.
