With a cycle path just 200 m away, explore the Ile d'Oléron at your own pace, between salt marshes, pine forests and small oyster ports. Dolus-d'Oléron is an ideal destination for combining nature and cultural discoveries. Its rich heritage, marked by the church of Saint-André and the many colorful oyster huts, makes it an authentic place to visit. The commune is also a perfect starting point for discovering the Marais des Bris and the Saint-Trojan national forest, offering beautiful nature walks.
When it comes to gastronomy, don't miss Aux Frits de Mers (Fish and Chips) and La Pêche aux Moules in Château-d'Oléron, or Les Poissons Rouges and L'Albatros in Saint-Trojan.
