「Very helpful and provided a packed breakfast on both days as had to be out of hotel at 07.00 each morning. Room was very comfortable, clean and warm. Mine host and staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be booking again. 」
「Lovely large bed but a tiny bathroom, although if space is limited that is the best way around so suited us fine.
Pleasantly surprised to find permit parking available right at the door of the property, although £4.50 for 24 hours just 200 yards or so away was also most acceptable.
Very pleasant, easy walk across Jephson Gardens to the town centre.
Reasonable walk to Victoria Park for the Bowls England national finals.

「Despite the view of others on review, we found the place clean, the beds comfy and, as most said, the breakfast lovely. Appears they are doing a bit of a refurb and the rooms and common areas are benefitting from that. I would stay here again if I was in the area given the choice. 」
「Very competitive price for a comfortable room. Accommodation( total of 4 rooms) was adjacent to and accessed via the village pub , but we did not hear a thing ! Nice outdoor space for relaxing or dining/ drinking.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.
Only considerations are staircase up to accommodation and breakfast is not served in the pub. 」
